“To eat is a necessity, but to eat intelligently, is an art.”

— La Rochefoucauld

About me.

My interest in nutrition came from my own personal struggles. Diagnosed with IBS in my early 20’s, I constantly felt sluggish, bloated, anxious and my acne was out of control. Although I was given a diagnosis, there was no one pill which could ‘fix me’ or any explanation as to why I was experiencing these symptoms. I started doing my own research which led me to discover the benefits of nutrition. My interest grew quickly and I started to make small changes to my diet and lifestyle and saw a drastic difference in my symptoms. Keen to learn more, I decided to embark on a 3-year diploma in Nutritional therapy.
After 3 years at the college of naturopathic medicine, I am now a registered Nutritional therapist and have gained the knowledge which has enabled me to understand my own health, and I want to share that knowledge with others so they can regain control over their health and happiness. Nutrition isn’t just about changing your diet (if only it was that easy). Rather than focusing on the symptoms alone, It’s vital to address the different areas of the body which are under stress. I never once associated my acne or anxiety with my gut issues, but once I addressed the gut dysbiosis, my anxiety and acne also improved

My main area of focus is gut health, particularly IBS but I can also offer support with other conditions which include:

  Weight loss

  Peri and post menopause

    Autoimmunity

Anxiety and depression

Skin conditions including acne, eczema and psoriasis.
